When working with a client, there will be blindspots. How do we try to see what we didn’t see? C202003130819: Systemic Group Supervision on 12 March 2020 * Observation * There were too much similarities and parallel process between Worker and client, that stopped the curiosities. * Sarah asked "how do you see what you do not see?" * We asked not because we doubt or not trusting clients, but to gain more understanding * Tool/Techniques: * (1) First know yourself. What is my baseline. Usually how do i work (if it's other case) ? * (2) Ask what is similar or different between case and me. * (3) What am i seeing, what i am not seeing? What am i hearing? What am i not hearing? Meta-cognition, meta-feeling, meta-hearing... (What am i feeling, and not feeling? * (4) Draw Ecomap - leave empty circles intentionally and ask self, what am i missing out. * (5) Draw a table, on the left (What am i seeing, hearing, and knowing) on the right (write the opposite, flip side, and asked why is it missing). E.g If i see a single child, asked.. where are the other children?
