## Chapter 1
- Think like you are your own boss. Business of One. Think what are your business objectives, who are your clients.
- Define measurable objectives as performance tracker
- The more control you have, the more enjoyable remote work is
- Remote working is a learnt skills. It is a skill.
## Chapter 2
- Punctuated collaboration. Not to have too many meetings. Use text, apps to collaborate. Small group instead of large meetings.
- Over-communicate with clients/boss are better than under communication.
- Build trust.
- Maintain a performance file of what you have accomplished in each quarter.
## Chapter 3.
- Role as a manger is to set ground rules. Manage your staff as vendors.
- Weekly Team Check In. To promote bonding, sharing, communications.
- What each one is currently working on,
- What is next week looking like.

- Force yourself to limit time for research and quickly form hypothesis and draft out recommendations. Send out draft to check if directions, goals are aligned.
- Mid-flight review along the way to check if we are going in the right direction/location.
- Learn to quickly prototype
- Start with the end in mind, as "so what" etc
- Only hand it once (OHIO) for messages/ requests
- Time management. Don't get too busy. Have time to reflect, think and plan. Have weekly and daily review sessions.
## Chapter 8
- Have a personal productivity dashboard to organise calendar events, to do list.
- When reading, skim. Start skimming introduction and conclusions. Take notes
