# How to manage Loneliness?

Have an experimentation mindset, take on a scientific approach to solve problem as written in [[Book Note Polymath, Hollins peter]]
Do the following:
1. **It is signaling a need** You are thirsty and needing social connections. Accept that, and it is not a problem.
1. Related to [[Book - Love and Will]] - Emotions is not just about the past (what caused it), but it's a signal for what's needed (future), which is link to Will.
2. **Employ CBT technique** be mindful of the negative thoughts, and do not indulge on them. Examine and questions those thoughts with evidence, and keep reminding self that you have already debunk those beliefs.
3. **Extend yourself** Send out signal that you are ready to connect. Have no expectations or assumptions. Make yourself available, follow your intuition.
4. **Action time. Go out. Do something** You are not seeking popularity, but meaningful connections. Be realistic. Do something. Feed others and you will be fed. (Prov 11:25 Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.)
5. **Select available connections** Sense which prospective relationships are promising. Careful select. Don't eat junk food. Look for similar attractions.
6. **Expect the best** Remember the law of attraction. Hold good emotions and thoughts. Be positive.
7. **Plan ahead** Plan and schedule social connections ahead so you don't grow hungry and thirsty.
